Wednesday 9th - Saturday 12th April 2024
at Hampton Hill Theatre, 90 High Street, Hampton Hill TW12 1NZ.
One of Shakespeare’s earliest, shortest, stupidest and most undergarment-ruinously funny plays, The Comedy of Errors follows the adventures of Antipholus and his servant Dromio.
Searching for their long-lost brothers, they unwittingly set off a chain of events which threatens to ruin marriages, businesses, and friendships. As these two hapless heroes become embroiled in the lives of strangers who somehow know who they are, they find themselves caught up in a race against time, with an innocent man's life hanging in the balance.
This classic tale of two pairs of identical twins separated at birth and reunited by accident is packed full of our favourite things: errors, misunderstandings, cases of mistaken identity, cases of mistaken demonic possession, running around, and lost property.
